I am 43 yrs. old and at my wit's end!  This past year has been tumultuous to say the least.  We lost our home in June to foreclosure.  Then, in November, my 21 yr. old son broke his neck, a week later my Mom had a nervous breakdown, then my Dad became sick at the end of Dec. and just passed away on Jan. 15.  My husband is in construction and has been for 14 years.  He is self-employed and now can't get enough work to make ends meet.  I am a RE agent, have been for 6 yrs., but have not done anything much for the past year.  I am the caregiver of my family, so all of the family crisis situations fall squarely in my lap and have only added to the financial and emotional stress we already had.  I am having trouble asking for help, but at this point I don't know what else to do.  If someone could give me a loan even, I would pay it back in payments.  I just need a few months to get going and find a new form of income.  I did not have a vehicle for the past year as mine broke down and we have not been able to get it fixed.  Since my Dad died, I now have his car and can hopefully find some work.  Any help would be appreciated.  Especially anybody who has a way to make a living online.  I would love to find an opportunity to make a legitimate living online.  Thanks for listening and thanks in advance for any help!

I'm also totally new to this idea. I mean, I run some websites and blogs that have dontation buttons- so that if someone is really getting something out of my writing and wants to help me keep doing these projects they can....but that's a little different. I'm not so into begging anyone for anything, it can lead to so many crashed hopes and strain in relationships... but then again, there are lot' of times I've helped others just for the joy of being able to do that. I'm sure I'm not the only person in the wold who has done that. Sometimes it just embarasses me to admit that I'm on the other side of the wheel of fortune right now, and don't know wher to come up with the resourrces I really need.

It's also hard for me, because I'm not a very money oriented person- but it's usually necssary to accomplish any goal; unless you luck into a serindipitious miracle. For instance, to effectively get out of here and move back to New Orleans, I'm going to need a vehicle- and on that will run will enough to drive 3,015 miles. Now, I have gotten a car free from a friends a cuple of times in my life, and have done the same- but that rarely happens. Usually you need a wad of cash and a newspaper...especially it you don't have credit.

So, while reaserching for my resource exchange network site ( http://www.poor-folks-helping-poor-folks.webs.com ) I read an article that mentioned cyber begging, and thought I'd look into it. I mean, I've tried everything else, why not?

The first service I signed up for required a fee, and I don't have the fiften bucks...though it may be totally legit. I found a differet one called beglist, which I posted on. You can check out my post and their site here:

I wanted to wish everyone out there a happy new years. This is my first post on this social media site. I started the new year with new resolutions. My resolutions are pretty much the same as they were last year, uhoh. While 2009 brought joy it also brought pain. 

I thought I would post my resolutions. The first is to loose weight and the second is too get my finances in order. These two go hand in hand. I am one of those people that have been heavy (fat) since birth. I played softball in school, rode a skateboard, joined aSorority in college, got married, had 3 kids, got divorced, went back to school, dated on the internet, so i can't say I missed out on a lot in my life. But the weight has also been an issue (the elephant in the room so to speak). 

2009 I researched and researched and researched weight loss surgery options. My so called health insurance will do nothing with weight loss surgery and I have zero dollars to put forth (having to now pay back loans for school). The research I have done, I could go to Tijuana Mexico (with about $20,000 cash and an advocate), take out a $24,000 loan and pray that there are no complications (if there is that is easily another $25-40,000 in medical coasts) that I can't get because of my debt ratio, do nothing and write this exact same post in one year, or ask for resources. 

 How have other people paid for weight loss surgery?

I have been unable to work full-time for over 2 years because I am raising my grandson and ran into some legal issues. My husband lost his job. I am currently taking online college course but I haven't been able to pay the internet bill. I'm afraid I'm going to have to give it up. I'm getting ready to lose my house because I haven't been able to pay the mortgage. My electricity and phone are going to be shut off soon. I don't know what to do.All my bills are past due and with christmas coming up everything seems very hopeless. I need to find some help fast.

I worked as a corrections officer for almost 13 years before my oldest daughters boyfriend started making trouble for me. When my grandson was born in July of 2004, my daughter wanted me to take him. I did. In June of 2005, I started back to work part-time as a caregiver working in the homes of the elderly. I haven't been able to work for over a month because my last client was put in a home. My husband just lost his job 3 weeks ago. We are so behind on all our bills and am getting ready to lose the house because we can't pay the mortgage. I am also taking online college courses but don't know if I can continue becasue I can't even afford the internet service.
